Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. The mystery meat on my omlet was a little unsettling. Their Mexican omlet has nothing on Annie's Mexican omlet
The food was delicious, flawlessly cooked with satisfying portions. The half-hearted service from the waitress was some of the worst I have ever experienced. At 12:30 PM she did not know the daily special but told us to get up and go read the special board. I only ordered water for a beverage, and after 1 glass she left it empty for our entire meal. She took away the menus, returned to tell me that my order was unavailable, and made me order something else from memory without a menu. She stopped at the table twice, to deliver our food and bring the check; neither time did she ask how the food was or if we needed anything else. At the time we were the only customers in the restaurant. The proprietor who checked us out and the cook were extremely welcoming and friendly and this with the quality of the food will be the only reason we will consider returning. It is unfortunate that something so easy to resolve left us with such a bad first impression.
Made from scratch soups, pies and more. Excellent diner fare. Far more tasty than the large restaurant across the highway.
Mom and pop small restaurant only open until 2pm. I had a burger which wasn't bad, but wasnt anything to write home about either. I also tried the chive fries, which are fries with a sour cream and chive seasoning, they come with a side of ranch to dip them in. Not bad. I had a coke which was slightly flat. Staff was friendly. All in all its not bad, if you're looking for home type cooking. I hear the breakfasts are pretty good although I've never had one. Maybe next time.
Average coffee for a small town diner, if your a coffe snob you might pass on it. But the Chicken Fried Steak was one of best Ive ever tasted. The atmosphere was very peaceful and the service fine. No regrets.
