We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were a little dated but clean. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The breakfast was minimal with cereal, fruit, yogurt, toast, and a waffle iron. The Apple orchard next door was a fun visit.
My friend and I came to the hotel and checked in, went to an event, and had an emergency arise with someone in the hospital back in the cities causing us to cancel and head back immediately. Upon receiving my call, I then proceeded to call the hotel and see about canceling our stay. On the phone the employee was more than nice and understanding and I apologized and thanked him several times for breaking a rule for me to cancel our stay. Not even 2 hours later upon arriving at the hotel to grab our things and check back out I continues to thank and apologize for any inconvenience, the employee then told me he had deleted our payment. When I asked deleted? In clarification, he RUDLY looked at me like I was some idiot, and proceeded to raise his tone in voice and slow down as if I didnt understand him!! And then clarified that he had refunded our money. I dont recommend this place whatsoever. The maintenance guy was far more welcoming than the front desk clerk guy.
Check-in process was slow. We were assigned a room on the second floor. Hotel does not have an elevator and we requested a change to the first floor. A change was made for a lesser caliber room at the same cost. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, the only seating in the room was an uncomfortable desk chair. I have stayed in FAR nicer rooms for less money.
Nice place with comfortable beds. The owners are putting a lot of work into it, and it's coming along nicely. Semi truck parking. Great little dive restaurant next door .
The rooms are barely passable.Facility needs updating and refurbishing badly. The beds are pretty uncomfortable. The bathroom, if you can call it that, is tiny, shower is crappy. It's just old and needs some love. The breakfast is sub-standard, even by this level of hotel. We would not recommend starting here as you can do better for the money elsewhere.
